Tally ("Tally", "the app", "we") is a habit & streak tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch. This policy explains what the app does — and does not do — with your data. The short answer: Tally has no server and no account, and your habit data never leaves your device and your own private iCloud. The only data collected is limited app-usage and purchase analytics — through Google Analytics for Firebase and Adapty (both described below) — never your habits.
No habit data, ever. Tally has no backend service. Your habits, completions, streaks, reminders, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database, and optionally mirrored to your own private iCloud. We never receive, see, or have access to this information. The data we do collect is limited to the app-usage and purchase analytics described below, plus anything you choose to send us — for example, your email address and message if you contact support. We do not buy, sell, or build advertising profiles from any data.
To understand how the app is used and to improve it, Tally uses Google Analytics for Firebase (provided by Google). It collects anonymous app-usage events — for example, app opens, which screens and paywalls are viewed, and purchase events — together with a device identifier. It does not receive your habits, completions, streaks, or any other content you create in the app, and it is not used for advertising or to track you across other apps or websites. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
To understand how our in-app purchase performs, Tally uses Adapty, a third-party purchase-analytics service, in observer mode. When you buy or restore Tally Pro, Adapty receives the related purchase events and a device identifier. That is all it receives. Adapty never receives your habits, completions, streaks, or any other content you create in the app, and it is not used for advertising or for tracking you across other apps or websites. Adapty's handling of this data is governed by Adapty's own privacy policy.
If you are signed in to iCloud and leave sync on, Tally stores your data in the private CloudKit database tied to your Apple Account, hosted by Apple. This is the same iCloud only you control; we cannot read it. You can turn sync off in iOS Settings at any time. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Habit reminders are scheduled locally by the app through Apple's notification system on your own device. No reminder content is sent to or through any server we operate — there is no push server.
Tally Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase sold through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. When you buy or restore it, Apple processes the payment and records the entitlement. We never see or store your payment details, card numbers, or Apple Account credentials.
Tally is a habit-tracking tool for general wellbeing and productivity. It is not a medical device. It does not access Apple Health or any health data, and makes no medical or therapeutic claims.
Tally is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Tally is published by WebKoding. For any data you choose to send us (such as a support email), the data controller is WebKoding, contactable at [email protected]. We process that correspondence on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering you, and delete it when it is no longer needed.
You have the right to access, correct, or erase any personal data you have sent us, to object to its processing, and — if you are in the EU/EEA or UK — to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because your habit data stays on your own devices and in your own iCloud, you remain in direct control of it: you can edit or delete it in the app, export it, or turn iCloud sync off at any time. Any iCloud data is hosted by Apple in its data centers and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Because the app collects very little data, changes will be rare.

This website (tally.webkodingtheme.com) uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits, to see which pages and referring sites bring people here, and to record when a visitor taps through to the App Store. It collects the page viewed, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and the referring site. IP addresses are anonymised, and Google advertising signals and ad personalisation are switched off — this data is never used to build an advertising profile and is never joined to anything you do inside the app. See Google’s privacy policy. This section covers the website only; how the app itself handles your data is described above.
